Happy Birthday Annie

Today is a special day.

Annie, who has made my life complete has her birthday on 15 August.

If you are fortunate enough - like me - to share your life with someone who;
  • supports you whatever you do
  • laughs and cries with you
  • cares for you
  • loves you unreservedly
  • tolerates your eccentricities
  • accepts you for who you are
  • does not judge you
  • makes you feel the most important person in the world

Then you will know what I mean when I say work, business and making a living is less important than the things Annie and I share.

There was a time in my life I wasn't really sure I wanted to live to be 100 but now I do - on condition Annie and I are still together making each other laugh.

Happy Birthday Darling - I love you x

That is wonderful that two people can find such happiness together. I have that very same relationship with my wife. It makes all things more pleasant when you can share them with someone that is right for you. it does not matter if times are good or bad everything is OK when you have someone to love and that same love is given in return. You are right when you say nothing really matters. Keep it simple and continue to lead with your heart and everything will work out just fine. Share an ice cream sandwich every now and then and you will be happy for many years. It really is the simple things in life that are best. Love is the great equalizer of all past deeds, setbacks, and heartbreaks. keep sharing and giving it away. it will continue to come back to you multiplied. Since Annie is 29 you should have many many years to enjoy each other.

Thanks for that Rocky.

Annie is impressed with your comments but you seriously OVER-ESTIMATED her age.

The truth is we are still both in our teens - I, of course, am the older teenager in case your were wondering :-)

Take care my friend - your words are always powerful
