Two weeks ago I had the immense pleasure of meeting Tom Peters in London. For over 20 years I have followed Tom's writing and at last this was an opportunity to come face to face with him. A meeting I will remember for a long time. What a gentleman he is!
I am sorry not to have been able to post this picture until now but at long last our Internet connection is up and running so better late than never.

Congratulations, Trevor--on both meeting Tom and getting your internet back! (Wannadoo, what a silly name anyway!) I hope you will be happy with British Telecom.
During a recent trip to Mexico I had some free time during the day (another story, that...) and I had a chance to listen to Tom Peters Live in London from 2003. I pulled up the slide set from his website while listening and it was (I imagine) almost like being there. It must have been fantastic to be a part of that experience live.
Thanks Mike - it was brilliant to see Tom 'live' as it were. He is an amazing speaker. I had heard him many times on audio but to see him speak is definitely worth it!
So far BT have been fabulous - customer care has been superb - they seem to 'care' about their customer - which is all we ask isn't it?

Too cool! I saw Tom in Boston a few years ago - if I ever get a chance to see him live again, I'll be sure to follow your example and bring a copy of my book for the photo!

What an honor to meet Tom Peters. Tom is one of the very few visionaries who really gets it, especially where the role of women in the economy is concerned. That he is a class individual isn't surprising.
I agree Marilyn - he uses simplicity principles and common sense in his work. I have learned from reading his books and meeting him was the icing on the cake. He has been 'beating the drum' for women for 6 years and at last people are beginning to take notice!
