Simplicity question of the week

We had an interesting
weekend.
What do you
think I am doing here on
Saturday night?

Ah, let me guess. Trying to build a tower of some sort out of kabob skewers and sticky candy of some sort? Could have been some sort of competition as you are all quite focused on the effort.

Very close Steve! In fact only ONE word wrong in that description my friend :-)

Possibilities:
1. Building a structure out of sticks and marshmallows as some form of arcane "team-building" workshop.
2. Christmas decoration fundraising marathon at the community center.
3. Weekly meeting of Morris Dancers Anonymous. (Structured activities are one key to overcoming it...)

Mike!!

Morris Dancers Anonymous!!! - how the heck did you know I went to that group? - It is supposed to be a secret!!! - You are wrong anyway because it is a Wednesday evening I attend MDA not a Saturday :-)

Could be the annual confederation of mature, follically-challenged and visually impaired tower builders.

By the way Trev, your Morris dancing tights have got a ladder in them.

Thank you darling for that wonderful vote of confidence :-)

And the secret of my tights must remain between you and me :-)

So, since I didn't talk about Morris dancing, what was the one wrong thing about my guess? That you were all so focused? Just curious...

Hi Steve

Morris Dancing was a 'red herring' thrown in by Mike.

Annie and I were part of a 4 person team in a competition in our Church on Saturday night. Each team was asked to build a construction from spaghetti and jelly babies. The highest structure was the winner. Our team finished third! It was good fun.

God has a great sense of humour!

You were spot on - the only thing you got wrong was ‘spaghetti’ rather than ‘kebab skewer’ so you win the prize my friend - I will send you one hardly used jelly baby!!!! - Please excuse the sticky messy texture but bear in mind it has been handled by at least four people :-)

What a non-sense and fun threat. Keep trying, you are very much approaching the Dadaists way of looking to life :-)

I had to do a Google search to find out what 'Dadaists' are Omara! - creative artist? - mmmm ... not me ...maybe Annie :-)
