Thanks Troy - a sad ... but also a somehow joyous weekend.

All soccer stadiums in UK had a one minute silence before kick off in memory of George and in some stadiums the crowd decided to have one minute of applause - it was magical and something George would have enjoyed.

The funeral is on Friday next week in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the newspapers are saying it will be the biggest funeral in Britain since Princess Diana in 1997 - that indicates just how popular George was.

Dutch television showed some of them last night. That was a marvelous tribute.
I also noticed the beautiful goal Van Persie scored. Somehow that one too seemed to be a tribute to ingenuity on the pitch.

All the best Trevor.

Hi Frank

Van Persie certainly looks a great young talent. If he is half as good as George Best then we are in for some great times from him

All the very best - the applause tributes were very fitting for George :-)
