"If you die a penny in debt you made a proft"

I wish I could remember who said this - I think it may have been Groucho Marx - it certainly sounds like a Groucho quote don't you think?

Anyone know?

I couldn't find that quote attributed to Groucho, but I found a lot of others, including some that I thought were profound. I especially liked this one (who would have thought?)...

"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."

G. Marx

Fabulous quote Mike - I love it. As I have got older I realise even more that our destiny is always in our own hands. We always have a choice - however testing and difficult it may be. Many look to blame someone else or something else without first looking in the mirror and asking - did I do my best?

Trevor, this is something along the lines of Seth Godin's Squidoo - my thinking on it, you know?

My thoughts on Squidgy

The whole debate can be read on BuzzMachine under the Squidoo thread which is about to run off the coil. ;)
