I have decided to put forward that we English should do something similar.

We need a dance that typifies the fighting English bulldog spirit and terrifies the opposition …

So here we are .. This is a picture of English Morris Dancers is bound to put the fear of God into any opposition don’t you think?

What to you is typically English?

That is absolutely horrifying. I would hate to meet those guys in a dark alley for sure. I always envisioned the english as having beautiful countryside, good beer and courage. These guys have obviously had there share of some good strong beer while walking the country side and the courage is evident.

Brilliant my friend :-)

On most summer weekends in England - if you are a really sad person - you can find Englishmen (yes I am serious they are really dressed like that) - doing this sort of thing in car parks of many Pubs. Maybe it is the effect of the beer!

There is even serious talk of Morris Dancing being an Olympic sport. Can you imagine some of the Japanese Sumo wrestlers in those outfits Rocky? :-)

I'll have you know that I learned Morris Dancing at school - and loved it! Do you know why LINE DANCING was invented? To stop people making fun of Morris Dancers.
